Using the work Knock-Knock as a starting point, what if that name on the door could become a more fully developed character. What if he had seen my work somewhere and made an offer of his services that I then took advantage of? Even if I didn’t use his jokes per se, his jokes might have inspired the works that are in the exhibition.
